Forgotten
On November 6, 2005, I had a rare opportunity, along with a number of other photographers, to enter a long-abandoned brickmaking factory near downtown Toronto. Most of the brick that built downtown Toronto was made at the Brickworks, which has stood empty since the mid-20th century. Photographer Michael Reichmann, creater of one of the Internet's premier photography websites,The Luminous Landscape (www.luminous-landscape.com) gained access for a group of photographers to enter the Brickworks and create images of the long-abandoned factory. Some of the photographs I created there are included in this Gallery. The experience of shooting at the Brickworks also sparked an interest in me about other structures and objects that were abandoned, such as old homes and buildings, or toys, machinery and other objects. This is where memories are held and are lost. Some of these images are included in this Gallery. I hope you enjoy them.
